71 Eunice, born March 26, 1781 ; married John, son of Phillips and Mary (Breed) Sawyer of Weare March 14, 1799. He was born June 25, 1774. They were Friends. He settled in Henniker, N. H., where he was a selectman for seven years, and represented the town in the legislature in 1812. He died in Henniker Jan. 3, 1841. She afterwards lived with her daughter Mary in Danvers, Mass., where she died April 24, 1877, at the age of ninety-six; and was buried in the Friends' burying ground at Henniker.
Children, born at Henniker :
1. Mary, born March 15, 1800; married Nathan Page Oct. 21, 1820. He was born at Weare June 2, 1793. They removed to Lincoln, Vt., in 1821 ; and from thence to Danvers about 1837. Mr. Page was a fluent and forceful preacher of the Society of Friends. At Danversport, he carried on a fine farm. They had six children. He died at Danvers July 26, 1883, at the age of ninety; and she died there Nov. 26, 1896, aged ninety-six. Their son John Sawyer Page married Maria Anna Gove.
2. Moses, born Oct. 26, 1803; was superintendent of a cloth mill in Vermont while a minor; and then went to Amesbury, Mass., and for several years worked in the mills there. When twenty-eight years old, practically without capital, he formed a company and established the Weare Woolen Mills on the Piscataquog river, which he managed until 1880(6?). The company was incorporated in July. 1831, with a capital of twenty thousand dollars. The mill was burned in 1836, but rebuilt the next j^ear — the panic year of 1837; and in 1848 a second mill was added. He was a devoted Friend; and a member of the legislature in 1866. He married, first, Rebecca B. Morrill Oct. 23, 1833. She was born in Seabrook, N. H. ; and died April 2, 1848. He married, second, Hannah Bassett, widow of Jones June 23, 1852, at Dover, N. H. He had four children.
3. Nathan, born April 28, 1806. He was in business with his brother Daniel at North Weare for a short time; otherwise, he always lived on the old homestead of his father at Henniker. He held many town offices. He married Anna Hodgdon of Weare Oct. 27, 1831. She was born April 20, 1809; and died July 5, 1885. They were Friends ; and had two children.
4. Daniel, born July 26, 1808. He engaged in the wholesale grocery business in Portland, Me., when a young man; and, in 1833, returned to Weare. and for several years sold the products of the Weare Woolen Mills, which were managed by his brother Moses. In 1848, he opened the first general store in North Weare and continued in that business as long as he lived. He married Dorcas Neal Hodgdon of Weare July 6, 1831. She was born July 25, 1811 ; and died April 26, 1882. He died April 8. 1885. They had four children, one of whom is Hon. Oliver Dennett Sawyer, a Republican member of the New Hampshire State senate in 1887 and 1888.

72 Lydia, born May 31, 1779; married Stephen, son of Jonathan and Keziah (Roberts) Dow of Weare Aug. 3, 1797. They were both Friends ; and lived on the Dow homestead in Weare, where he was a tanner and farmer until about 1841, when he removed to Woburn, Mass. He was born in Weare March 25, 1754. She died Nov. 11, 1832; and he died at Weare July 26, 1842.
Children:
1. Peace Neal, born Feb. 24, 1798; married Stephen P. Breed Oct. 22, 1817. He was born at Lynn, Mass., Jan. 20, 1796; and was a tanner at Weare and afterward at Concord, N. H. He continued the business later in Alton, 111. He returned to Weare and was the first station agent at the North Weare railroad station (opened in 1850). He held the position twenty years. She died at Alton Jan. 29, 1847; and he married, secondly, Anna Green, widow of Obadiah Huse. Lydia had five children. He died at Weare July 28, 1871. They were both Friends.
2. Abraham, born May 1, 1799. His name was changed to Alfred. He married, first, Betsy Neal Hull in 1832. She was born May 20, 1807; died July — , 1839. He married, second, Caroline Silsbee April 3, 1843. She was born at Sutton, Mass., June 7, 1809. He died at Alton, 111., Oct. 1, 1876; and she died there Nov. 26, 1893. He had three children.
3. Judith P. born Aug. 20, 1801 ; married Enoch Breed Oct. 25, 1820. He was born at Weare Aug. 8, 1795 ; and resided at Woburn. She died there Sept. 9, 1877. They were both buried in the Friends' burying ground at Weare. They had two children.
4. Jonathan, born Aug. 29, 1803 ; married, first, Harriet Chase in 1837. She was born Nov. 16, 1809. They went to Alton; and she died in 1834. He married, second, Matilda L. Brown in 183- He had four children.
5. Mary Green, born Aug. 11, 1806; married Hial Plumley Cram May 5, 1836, at Goffstown, N. H. He was born Sept. 22, 1807 ; and lived at Weare Center, being town clerk of Weare in 1839 and 1840. He conducted a hotel there afterwards, and removed to Boston, Mass., or vicinity. He died at Stoneham. Mass., March 28. 1878. They had four children.
6. Stephen, born Jan. 13, 1809; lived in Portland, Me., in 1836; and removed to Woburn, where he did an extensive business as a tanner and currier. He also had a wholesale leather business in Boston. He married Celinda Thompson of Woburn May 24, 1836; and she died Oct. 16, 1842. They had seven children.
7. Moses Gove, born June 6, 1811; married Harriet Purington Oct. 5, 1834, at Portland. She was born in Weare June 7, 1811. He died at Norway, Me., April 12, 1843; and she died at Portland Oct. 31, 1891. They had two children.
8. James Neal, born May 5, 1814. When eighteen years of age he went to work in a store at Waterville, Me., and a few years later went to Alton, 111., in charge of a construction gang on the Chicago & Alton Railroad. In 1849, he went to California with an ox-team, the journey taking seven months. He made and lost a considerable fortune, again made one, and went to Woburn, where he engaged in the manufacture of morocco leather until 1872. He then retired from business, having acquired wealth. He was one of the founders of the Woburn Five Cents Savings Bank, and its first treasurer. He held many positions of trust in Woburn. He married Ellen Sophia Beeman of North Bridgton, Me., Aug. 11, 1853, at Biddeford, Me.; and died at Woburn in 1887. They had two children.
9. Lydia Gove, born Nov. 17, 1816; married Charles H. Choate of Woburn Sept. 14, 1840, at Weare. He was born at Charlestown, Mass., Sept. 16, 1806; was a wealthy merchant in Boston; and died at Woburn Feb. — , 1883. _ She died there April — , 1904, aged eighty-seven.
10. Benjamin Franklin, born July 2. 1819; married, first, Judith Rodgers March 26, 1845. She died: and he married, second, Laura Jane Lapointe Nov. 12, 1865. He had five children.
11. Emma Maria, born Jan. 31, 1824; married Benjamin Pond June 28, 1848, at Woburn. He was born at Salem, Mass., Feb. 6, 1822; and was a lawyer, living at East Boston. She died there Dec. 15, 1873; and he died at Somerville, Mass., Nov. 21, 1889. They had eight children.

73 Mary born April 4, 1666, in Hampton; married, first, Joseph, son of Lt. John and Mary (Tuck) Sanborn of Hampton Dec. 28, 1682. They lived at Hampton Falls. He died in 172—; and she married, second, — Morril of Salisbury, but left him and returned to live on the homestead at Hampton Falls.

1. Abigail, born April 1, 1686; married Ebenezer Dearborn of Chester Oct. 7, 1703; and died Feb. 26, 1768.
2. Huldah, born May 3, 1688; married Jonathan Nason of Hampton Oct. 17, 1705; and died Oct. 7, 1758.
3. Reuben, born May 18, 1692, at Hampton; married Sarah Sanborn Dec. 28, 1714; and died at Hampton April 22, 1756.
4. Edward, born April 7, 1695; married Dorothy (Robie), widow of Sanborn; and died Sept. 2, 1757.
5. Abraham, born March 10, 1696; married Dorothy Smith; and died Sept. 2, 1757.
6. Mary, born July 27, 1697; married Capt. Samuel Prescott Dec. 17, 1717; lived in Hampton Falls, where he was selectman and town clerk. She died May 28, 1757; and he died, of fever, June 12, 1759. They had five children.
7. Joseph, born July 22, 1700; married, first, Lucy Prescott of Hampton Jan. 18, 1722. She died March 19, 1723; and he married, second, Susanna James of Hampton Jan. 23, 1724. She died June 1, 1761 ; and he married, third, Dorothy Hilliard. He died Jan. 26, 1773.
8. David, born Jan. 16, 1702; married Abigail Glidden.

75 A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 25, 1997, in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church for Jean Alice Dunn, who died Feb. 22 at age 68. A family graveside service will follow in River View Cemetery.

Mrs. Dunn was born May 4, 1928, in Portland. Her maiden name was Irwin. She graduated from Lincoln High School in 1946. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her husband, John T. 'Jack' Sr.; sons, John and Jeff, both of Portland, and Jim of Yorba Linda, Calif.; and 10 grandchildren.

Arrangements are by Riverview Abbey Funeral Home.
