  Notes	[dunbar_tree.FTW] This Cospatric was a great benefactor of the abbey of Kelso, described in its charters from him as "Cospatricius, Comes." {-line from Burke's "Dormant...Peerages."} He was a signer of the Charter of Scone by Alexander I in 1115. Cf. "The Scots Peerage," James Balfour Paul (Edinburg: David Douglas, 1906), pp. 246-7. Cospatric was also Baron of Beanly in Northumbria.
