WILL OF HENRY FAY.
The noncupative will of Henry Fay of Newbury was sworn to Sept. 22-25, 1655, by several witnesses. These affidavits are taken fron a copy made by Joshua Coffin.
Henry Fay's Will.
Witnesse by theise presents that Henry Fay of Newbury in the County of Essex, weaver, did in his life time give & bequeath unto his brother's children his whole estate, his debts being discharged, & that he did desire his friends Robert Long & James Jackman that they would looke to it, for, said he, I will leave it in your hands until they come. This he said often times. Witnes - Richard Fitts, Robert Long, James jackman & Joane Jackman.
Sworne in Court held at Ipswich the 25th (7) 1655 per me Robert Lord Cleric. - The testimonye of James Jackman of Nubery witneseth that Henrye Faye have att several times & plases tould me that he would leave his whole estate when he dyed with Robert Longe and my selfe for his brother's children, if they doe come for itt & that Robert Lounge & myselfe should paye his dettes out of the estate.
